The new partnership kicks off during AfroTech 2022 in Austin with a series of educational events geared to people of color and women entrepreneurs.

This event series is also supported by Brown Advisory, Just Works, Zen Business, Black Girl Ventures, and Huston-Tillotson University.

November 14 - Entrepreneurship on Purpose (Women - focused event)

A panel discussion and workshop featuring women leaders at the intersection of women, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Speakers include Sian Morson, Web3 Leader & VP of Community at Cool Cats NFT, Taylor Shead, STEMuLI, Robyn Rodriguez, Black Girl Ventures, Sonja Marie, Master Intuitive Astrologer & ESSENCE Magazine Columnist, and Jynnette Lewis, Founder of Inner Sun Alchemy.

November 15 - Accessing Capital Authentically

An evening of frank conversation focused on navigating the venture capital world as a woman or founder of color. Women Winning in Web3

Join DivInc and the Women of Color Collective for a roundtable discussion on unlocking equity for women in Web3 and a mini NFT workshop.

​Women need to be a part of the building of Web3. But first, we must understand it, then, through collaboration, we can begin to utilize it in our work.

​Come to learn:

  • ​Background on Web3 and its key components, including NFTs and cryptocurrency

  • ​How leading women are using NFTs for their work

  • ​Ways to use these tools and navigate this space safely and securely

  • ​Opportunities for women to be a part of this new technology

​We will end with a hands-on mini-workshop where attendees will learn how to open a crypto wallet and have the opportunity to purchase an NFT.

Sian Morson is an artist, curator, and community builder. An accomplished entrepreneur and investor, Sian founded The BlkChain in 2021 with the goal of amplifying women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ artists and collectors in Web 3. Currently, Sian is Head of Community at the Palm NFT Studio, an ecosystem built on culture and creativity.

Latecia Johnson, Global Music Partnerships | Royal
LaTecia Johnson is a Senior Brand Strategist and Entrepreneur bridging the gap between creators, music, technology, and the audiences they covet. Through her work as part of Royal’s Global Music Partnerships team, LaTecia is helping artists take control of their Web3 presence while creating new ways to engage with their biggest fans.

Samantha Lopez, Founder & Creative Producer | Sam Zo and Co
Samantha Lopez is a Creative Producer and founder of Sam Zo and Co, an agency focused on helping entrepreneurs and community-driven businesses bring their brands to life on social. She is also a mother, community builder, and a NFT and Web 3 advocate.

DJ La Moon, DJ & Recording Artist
La Moon is a Puerto Rican DJ and Recording Artist who has turn her passions into NFTS and is Co-Owner of Diosas NFT , Popular Punks and Goodle Dog Gang. She is also a proud breast cancer survivor, self taught DJ and Web 3 investor.
